Making a First Great Impression at NW Regionals

The East Bay Rowing Club men’s competitive team traveled to Vancouver, Washington to compete in the 2018 US Rowing Northwest Masters Championships (June 22-24).

The club competed in five racing events, two of which included qualifying heats. These included the AA-A and E 4+, and AA-B, C and D 8+ events. EBRC medaled in all events, with the highlight of taking first place in Sunday’s C 8+ event. See results.
This was EBRC’s first time participating in Northwest Regionals, and we walked away satisfied that the racing was competitive, and the overall atmosphere left a positive impression of the fellow clubs, competitors and race officials, who made us feel welcomed in this great competitive environment. This regatta will definitely be on our radar moving forward! More photos of EBRC at NW.
Watch the D 8+ sprint from 4th to 1st in the last 500 meters!
