In 2022, we decided to stand up against the discriminatory laws in Florida by lobbying USRowing not to hold Masters Nationals there. Our response was to create an alternative regatta that would celebrate inclusivity and accessibility in rowing for all races, genders and abilities. And so, Boats Without Barriers was born!
It was an incredible success, and we knew we had to keep it going. Our mission is to make rowing accessible and welcoming to everyBODY, and we'll continue to do that every year with this amazing event.
Help support our initiative to make rowing more accessible as we celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community on and off the water.
