Rowing For Team Building

A UNIQUE APPROACH TO TEAM BUILDING

We deliver lively, highly effective team building experiences on the Oakland Estuary near Jack London Square, Oakland. Each session is designed to enhance team and individual growth through hands-on rowing experiences that have a deep connection to teamwork, trust and communication.

Program: Customized 3-hour program (food & beverage optional)

Instructors: Experienced coaches from the East Bay Rowing Club

Safety: Stable learn-to-row boat, PFDs

Optional: Row in an 8-person rowing shell

Introduction To Rowing

You’ll prepare for rowing with an introduction to the rowing stroke while still on land.

ON THE OAKLAND ESTUARY

The Oakland Estuary is a remarkable protected channel that provides a unique view of Oakland’s Jack London Square, the Port of Oakland’s famous cranes, colorful Alameda houseboats and the amazing Oakland and San Francisco skylines. Rowing got started on the Oakland Estuary in the late 1890s and is now home to the US Mens National Team and the varsity men at the University of California, Berkelely. There are rowers on the Estuary every day of the week. Make this the backdrop to your next team building adventure.
